Myrith's Fall

It is said that as Myrith The Last Light plummeted towards the land after her final stand against the Unknowable Foe the world itself attempted to reach out and save her. The battle scarred landscape cracked and buckled, the northern reaches of Lorian raising miles into the air as the final Ascended crashed into the frigid snow. There are countless stories from those who claim to be descended of the people who once settled in Northern Lorian that the impact was so powerful it caused the earth to ripple and bend as if it were a troubled sea. This marked the final day of the Age of Ascension and with its last night the Unknowable Foe fled taking with them all the stars in the night sky until only the shifting hues of the newly sundered North offered any light or comfort. Though Myrith's fall is widely considered to be a place of holy worship and reverence there are few who would be so bold as to risk the trip through the most savage lands of Lorian.
