The day of the Ithquenti

Ithuqenti is the Draconic word for "gods". The holiday with this name is the holiday worshiping the dragon gods of Gundar. The holiday is celebrated in all communities and by all people, including those not of the Bahamist religion. The day is celebrated with worship, festivals, sporting events, and gladitorial contests in the name of the Gods. The celebration begins when the high svitram blows Bahamut's horn at midnight on the 90th day of the Ice, and the celebration ends at midnight on the 1st day of the Seed.
All of the royal families attend the contests during the day of the Ihquenti
During the gladitorial contests each god has two champions that fight to the death to determine who will fight in the next year's games. The sporting events and the gladitiotorial contests take place in an arena in a different city each year. The city is chosen when the high Svitram writes each city's name on a slip of paper, and burns it. The one that survives is chosen.
The day of Ithquenti is one of the only days that outsiders are allowed into the land of the Darahar in the west.
