06: Trouble Brewing Report
General Summary
The crew manages to escape a rampaging Pretech security mech. The Karma manages to level its shipborne weaponry on the mech, destroying it.
The reactor of the Artemis overloads and the derelict ship is destroyed.
The crew performs an autopsy on the body of the agent they defeated. It is quickly realized that the person is 90% machine, besides the complex organs like eyes and brain. A computer expert would be needed to try to learn anything about the hardware.
A Republic corvette stops the Karma and inquires about the damage they have sustained. The Republic ship realizes that Major Beks is wanted for links to a terrorist group, the Spacer's Freedom Brigade. They detain him and let the Karma go about its business.
The Terrans declare formal war on the Republic. They blame the Republic for the destruction of their ship.
