EML Department - T-Shirt

This project was created for a Design Lab client at Longwood University. 
The client wanted a T-shirt design, front and back, to celebrate the English and Modern Languages department's graduating class. Their slogan, "making the world through words", should be incorporated.
I chose to use the motif of ink or paint splatters, reminiscent of ink from a quill pen or paint from Longwood's tradition of Color Wars. I made a small mark with the department information for the front pocket, and a larger hand-lettered design for the back of the shirt. To keep it simple and let the design shine, I chose for the design to be printed black on a white T-shirt.
