Branch Out Farmville - Flier

This poster was created for a Design Lab client at Longwood University to advertise the Farmville, VA branch of Branch Out, a tree planting program.
For this project, I wanted to mix traditional and digital illustration to create a flier with an organic feel. I hand-drew the calligraphic lines and digitized them to flatten the shapes to make them more abstract.
The client wanted a design that would used minimal resources to print, so I chose to make a design with just black and a single accent color with a mainly white background. To further draw on the organic feel I was going for, I chose a natural green for the accent color.
