Yilvykians

Yilvykians are a bipedal species with a thick exoskeleton. They typically stand at around six to seven feet tall, and have faces that are a fusion between humanoid and insectoid features. They are largely homogenous, with very few noticeable physical differences between Yilvykians from different regions. The most apparent physical differences between them are the colours of their carapace and the shape of their mandibles and eyes. They have an average lifespan of 120 years.

Exoskeleton. Yilvykians have some of the sturdiest exoskeletons in the entire galaxy. Gain a +1 to your pilot's Armour value (this can stack with hardsuits).
Survivor. Yilvykians come from one of the least hospitable planets in the galaxy, and are only able to survive in such a World due to their internal systems not requiring as much upkeep as other species. An Yilvykian can survive up to a week without food or water without suffering any ill effects. Similarly, they can stay awake for up to 50 hours without being fatigued and only need five hours of rest to restore their HP to full.
