Hemlock

A plague that still devastates the lands of Mundi, with no inclination of slowing down. It overcomes and corrupts all living things that it touches, turning it shades of black, grey and purple. The origin of the plague is unknown, however it is known to have originated within the Lake of Tears. There is no known cure to this plague and no known way to slow its progress. However, it does move at an extremely slow pace which has given the Mundians that study it ample time to develop solutions to the issue.
Unfortunately, since no cure nor treatment to Hemlock has been discovered the plague has spread north and enveloped one of Mundi’s greatest cities: Valhalla. This has caused an unprecedented amount of damage to the Mundian city, whose residents suffer terrible illness from their prolonged exposure to the plague. Further, the World Tree Yggdrasill has died, the first of its kind to do so. This has prompted officials of the Order of Codite to declare Hemlock a ‘curse’ cast by Temult.
