The Barren King
According to the few who have directly met the with Barren King, he is an elf from the first battle of the Sidhe, yet most bards do not include him in their tales. Now however, he dominates a segment of the forest around The Storm River, and leads a nation of elves, humans, and the undead monstrosities that he creates in his wanton destruction of nature. Whole forests will be ravaged and burned in his goal to capture all the Hazel trees that he can, though none know for sure why.
Rumor has it that he tried to convince the King of Temris to refuse the deal the humans gave at The Taking of Anmor, and was cast out when he tried to lead a band of warriors against the humans when the rest of the Sidhe went into the hills and woods.
