Inspectorate

The Inspectorate is the principal law enforcement agency of the Plateau responsible for dealing with major national and regionwide crimes deemed too big for the Officer Corps. As such the Inspectorate is under the remit of the Department for Internal Security and it's minister. There are currently eight Inspectorate Bureaus throughout the Plateau, Polarin's Inspectorate Bureaus were abolished shortly after the passing of the Amnesty Law. Due to the small sizes and highly skilled nature of the Inspectorate there are only three ranks. Each Inspector duo is usually made up of a Senior and Junior pair, with a Chief Inspector. Each Chief Inspector answers directly to Minister of Internal Security. The Inspectorate, as a civil service, may send two delegates to the Election Court. In practice these two members are from the Central Sunland's Inspectorate as this is headquartered in the Council Conurbation.
