House Sost

Royal House Sost of the Sand was the Royal House that ruled the Desert Lands Regnency for four thousand years, until the deaths of most of its members during the Destruction of Palace Town. Historically a Noble House from Danst, their original name is long forgotten. The House rose to power during the Succession Wars that rocked the Desert Lands in the middle of the Kings Age. They managed to reform the Desert Lands to prevent the centuries of civil war from happening again, moved the capital, and changed the inheritance laws.

With historical context House Sost were able to prevent the widespread warfare that the Desert Lands was used to, but at the price of creating an autocratic state which slowly stagnated into revolution.
