Hah

Hah is a massive rainforest and region in northern Sunland. The Hahreen (or 'jungle people' as they are pejoratively called) are the local inhabitants. Hah is well known on the Plateau for holding a very isolationist culture, with its people very unlikely to leave the interior of the jungle and it's high tree tops. They surrendered immediately during the Conquest and its leaders bent the knee in return for certain concessions from the new Sunland King. This was done as Carmon I knew he could only conquer the jungle by burning it to the ground. Today the Hah is known as being a harsh opponent of Pitact's rule as Grand Elder as he forced them to except the building of a train network opening them up to the wider Sunland. This had the unintended consequence of causing large numbers of the Hahreen to join nationalist organisations. They were a key supporter (alongside Polarin) of Licey Hüster during the Nationalist Emergency.
