Fastra

The Fastran Commonwealth (commonly known as Fastra) is a region in central Sunland. Controversially regarded as part of the historic Rivush nation, Fastra was conquered by Rivush during the Magick Age who attempted to eliminate the Fastra culture even though Rivush number less than a third of the population. They continued to be overseen by Rivush or Fastran Rivush Viceroys until the end of the Monotherium. During the Democratic Revolution and Tricorne War, Fastra was a hotbed for anti-Monotherium activity amd after the war riots broke out leading to the death of the Viceroy who had been in hiding. Since then Fastra has been given a separate regional government allowing them to elect the first Fastran Premier. Fastra accents are considered quite deep. Most Fastrans speak Rivush after centuries of colonialism, however the Fastran language is now required study for school children in an attempt to preserve it.
