Zerekal

Zerekal is an outsider and her family are outsiders. Nevermind the fact that she has lived here since she was twelve, or that her children were born here - she speaks Sook, and her ways are northern ways. For an outsider, though, Zerekal has integrated fairly well into the community. She is a consistent synth miner, and one of the few sometimes willing to dive a little deeper and recover bits of numenera, which has made her a few friends in the Phrygian Sound.
She also remembers her northern village which had paved streets, hand pumps at wells, lit throughways, and wellness patrols, and she longs to have those things in Phrygia-by-the-Gap. She has been a supporter of the Progress Association from the beginning, spending countless hours on committee meetings and preparing arguments for the weekly community meeting. Zerekal is regularly appointed speaker at these meetings, and her outgoing nature has made her easy to approach for anyone who might have questions about the goals of the Progress Association.
Her primary concern is her family, including the grandchildren and great grandchildren who have yet to be born.
