The Phrygian Sound

The Phrygian Sound is a collection of buildings that together make up the hermitage or clave of the The Aeon Priests of The Phrygian Sound. Most of the buildings are stacked stone and synth, though a few are made of some exotic wood that one priest or another thought was beautiful in years past. Only a handful are in use today.
The main dormitory houses all of the priests regardless of gender and includes a single bunkroom, a kitchen, a private dining area, a reading room, and three small rooms for seeing visitors. There are half a dozen different laboratories, but most researchers crowd into the two that are most well equipped. One of those two laboratories has a thousand foot tall, six inch wide monolith rising through the roof due to a failed experiment, but it's been patched well and rarely leaks, so no one seems to complain. Sister Tarekin has built a surgery that sees a good amount of use, and there is a hostel available for travelers.
The Sound has been around for generations, and is well known to members of the Order of Truth as a place to go and do quiet research until you die.
