Clan Hahrwiz

Clan Hahrwiz is one of the Great Nations of the Plains of Kataru - the three largest of the nomadic tribes, to whom the others at least nominally owe allegiance. They have a reputation for being the greatest archers and espron riders on the Plains, and they have generally resisted anything that might seem to be considered domestication, subsisting instead through raiding and pillaging. By numbers alone, Hahrwiz is the smallest of the Great Nations, but their sheer ferocity and skill in battle means that they hold their own and have a good number of lesser tribes in their thrall.
Hahrwiz has suffered less at the hands of Milaconi than the other two tribes because they are less likely to stay in one place for longer than a week and because their ravaging lifestyle tends to attract fierce lesser tribes who are less likely to trade alliances. Still, some quiet voices in the clan have been calling for detente with their long-standing enemies, the Krell, and even the soft Sookol in order to put Milaconi down in a battle to be sung about for the ages, but most are content to ignore her.
Members of Clan Hahrwiz speak Hahr, and most are completely incapable of understanding the musical gibberish that is Krellit.
