The Krell Nation

The Krell Nation is one of the Great Nations of the Plains of Kataru - the three largest of the nomadic tribes, to whom the others at least nominally owe allegiance. Well known as hunters of espron and riders of aneen, the Krell can engage in trade and raiding as often as any of the other tribes. The Krell speak Krellit and are well known for pretending not to understand Hahr, the dialect of their traditional enemies, though Ghabhail, the current leader of the Krell is changing that convention.
The Krell and the other Great Nations are suffering from attrition of two types in their great conflict with Milaconi and the Dark Riders. First, they have lost many in battle. Second, and most concerning, many lesser tribes are abandoning their traditional allegiances to join the Dark Riders. Ghabhail has taken to lead to attempt to organize a confederation between the Krell, the Hahrwiz, and the Sookol, but she has not made much headway there. As a backup, she has outriders collecting volunteers from settlements to ride with the Krell, and she has standing bounties for stocks of weapon, armors, and numenera that she can use in the fight against Milaconi.
