The Yomahili

The Yomahili, or Hollow Leg Riders, are a unit of dragoons from Shaisvara.

Bedecked in gold, as most military units are in the country, they cut a striking figure as they thunder across the battlefield to find good positions to dismount and take shots at the enemy. They even carry two guns in the saddle. The first is their carbine, as one migh expect, but the second is a rifle, which they use to take out distant targets once they dismount and shoot.

The unit itself has existed for most of the lifespan of the mother nation, originally simply being a unit a famed cavalry. Unlike many of the more elite units of the world, they do not have much legend attributed to their formation. They were simply skilled in their arts of war and well lauded for that fact.
