Dwarven Zombies

In the depths of Wave Echo Cave, at the height of the The Phandelver Pact, a group of dwarven miners once worked tirelessly in the service of the mine’s great wealth and its collaboration with the Forge of Spells. They lived in humble barracks within the mine, led by their dedicated foreman, Baldria Ironfell, a stout and respected figure among the workers. Baldria was known for her unshakable loyalty to her crew and her unrelenting work ethic. Under her leadership, the miners extracted valuable ore.
When the army invaded, Baldria and her miners fought bravely to defend their home. Unfortunately, the invading army overwhelmed them, and the miners were slain in the barracks where they had once rested after long days of labor. Their bodies remained there, untouched for centuries, as the mine collapsed into ruin. However, the powerful magical forces of the Forge of Spells and the necromantic energy that lingered in the cave seeped into the barracks. Over time, Mormesk the Wraith reanimated Baldria and her crew, turning them into Zombies, cursed to haunt the mine forever.
Now, Baldria Ironfell and her miners remain within the barracks, endlessly wandering the hall where they once rested. Though they lack the minds they had in life, they are inexplicably drawn to the tools and space they once knew. The ancient magic of the mine binds them to this place, unable to move on.
