The Caranov Conclave

The Spice Cartel has been the de facto controlling organization of the vast majority of the underworld drug trade across the Galaxy for more than a hundred standard years. Throughout that time, various factions have risen and fallen in supremacy amidst the Cartel’s ranks - most notably, the Pyke Syndicate, Jabba’s Empire, and the Nikto Runners. To the Caranov Conclave’s great fortune, these groups and more made their homes on Coruscant, Corellia, and other major Core worlds, to keep a tight grip on both politics and the trade. With the Core Worlds in disarray, the Conclave has taken this opportunity to expand its influence and, if left unchecked, may soon become the dominant faction within the Cartel.

Trust Level 1 - Credits to Burn

Every job and mission offered by Underboss Slag comes with a hefty increase in credits; a straight forward benefit to working for an agency of the Spice Cartel. The legality and morality of these missions, however… (+200-300% increase in credits offered for completion of jobs)

Trust Level 2 - Unscrupulous Connections

For the right price, any illicit substance can be provided by the Cartel… and everyone knows this. You can leverage promises of drug shipments to NPCs during negotiations.

Trust Level 3 - Underboss in your own Right

The world is yours, the criminal word at least. You've gained enough influence with the Spice Cartel to opperate your own business and hire minions from the gang. You gain a monthly income of 10,000 credits per month, with a chance to improve.

Short Term Goal
Sensing the waning power of the Grand Hutt Council, the Spice Cartel seeks to gain a foothold on Nar Shaddaa. The Spice Cartel is investigating rumors it has heard of various imperial remnant groups hiding large quantities of imperial starships across Nar Shaddaa, and wants those vessels for themselves…
Mid Term Goal
Foster the growing rivalry between Stal’ang’s children into an all out war. Ferment rebellion on Nar Shaddaa to further destabilize the moon.
Long Term/Overarching Goal
Underboss Jeddal Slag is determined to make a name for themselves, and eventually create their own faction within the Spice Cartel. If the party is willing and proves themselves capable, Slag is more than happy to keep the credits flowing, and will richly reward any who help him rise to the top.
