Ghalgeer Bitstream

Ghalgeer was one of 9 children whose village was burned down during a war at age five, his parents were taken away to places unknown. He and his siblings escaped together, however, Ghalgeer and the younger three were left at an orphanage in the nearest town not under the threat of war. The elder siblings felt that they were too young to travel and survive with them. Of the four, only Ghalgeer remained unadopted, as he was too stoic and quirky for the taste of most in the village (OCD). Instead Ghalgeer grew up in the orphanage and at an early age began helping with building projects around the village. By age 8, he improved the water supply in the village, cleared the sewage and became the town tech kid. He soon got into fixing, building, and driving vehicles and began pod racing by age 12.
He eventually met Ikt Nok’das - the local street kid that no one fucked with. Ghalgeer was oblivious to other kids taking jabs at him, owever, but his new friend didn’t take it very lightly and used it as an excuse to beat down the locals on Ghalgeer’s behalf. Ikt hung with Ghalgeer probably because Ghalgeer had a knack for saying little and minding his business which was usually working on those pods. Whatever dealings Ikt had going on, Ghalgeer could care less. Though eventually Ghalgeer found it necessary to see if Ikt would be his muscle\money man for his pod racing gig.
Ghalgeer used his winnings to study Engineering online via the Holonet. He spent summers working as a holonet engineer by day and racing at night, all at the tender age of 15. His winning streak got him invited to the Pits.
During his first race - in which he bet big, his pod racer was shot down, and he lost his right arm in the crash. The pit bosses had their sketchy medic, Roob’ludvig’dons, install a bionic arm while he was unconscious so that he would owe them and race for them. Ghalgeer - broken and bruised, hit the scrap yard looking for parts for a new racer where he stumbled upon Z3D-R7, a BX Series Commando edition droid, that was pretty beaten up. Ghalgeer quickly found some parts and got the droid online. He then scavenged the remaining parts for his pod to build a winning racer, and built up the droid to handle the flying. He doubled down on his last wage to win back his freedom and crushed the opposition with his new droid doing the flying.
