Faan Lauvner Character in The Outer Reaches | World Anvil

Faan Lauvner

Faan was trained at a young age by her mother, a hidden force user in the time of the empire. Her father was a traveling scavenger who left when she was young and never came home. He used to send letters to her and her mom along with the credits he had earned in his travels, but one day, they stopped coming. Faan always wondered what happened to her father, but in her world, parents and relatives disappeared all the time. They either overdosed in an unknown alley or left home to never return. As a Force user, she believes in using it for the betterment of those around her, but mostly for herself. She is not so trusting of others, but can tell if a person has good intentions.   Faan begins her day with small traditional rituals that are unfamiliar to those around her. Think of it as yoga stretching and meditation once she wakes. After her meditation, she likes to start with a death stick or some form of psychedelic to help keep the day interesting.   She has a weakness for the new intoxicants and other pleasures of the many lands she has come across. She has become fascinated by the beauty and wonder of the new lands she has visited, and continues to make a living as her father did, selling valuable scraps and findings across the galaxy.
