Orc Swordsmanship
The orcs have taken to the sword and developed their own swordsmanship techniques. While they still favor the axe, the swordsmanship techniques they developed are all their own. The first swordsmen of the orcs were during the Bronze Age, when the orcs were making axes and swords out of bronze. The swords taken from stone had a certain shape after being cast and the orc warriors would practice with them.
During the iron age, Iron was found to be a superior metal to bronze. And the orcs' blacksmiths came about, making swords for the fighters and rangers. New swordsmanship techniques were developed. And the orcs who used swords would practice in formal duels. Orc swordmanship is an art, and it's very offensive and defensive. Several schools of swordsmanship were established, and by the height of the Second Kingdom of Kara'Kar, there were hundreds of schools of orc swordsmanship. The swordsmanship shown here is to be basic, one that anyone could learn: orc, gnoll, troll, or drow. Frenzy was taught in the style, making the orcs' attack more potent. The result was a style that could be used by fighters and rangers. Although Orc paladins learned to use the sword with meditiation techniques.
