Physical quirks
Their tail flicks around when they're in a good mood. They're not conscious of it, it just happens. The end is shaped kinda like a crab claw, and functions a bit like one. The actual tail is prehensile, but it's too weak to actually be useful.
Special abilities
Their ears are pointed and capable of limited movement. Parker also possesses a tapetum lucidum, giving them night vision. They also have enhanced senses.
Parker's tail has a stinger at the end. The venom it produces has various effects depending on what Parker consumes.

History
Parker caught Naomi in the halls one day, and explained that they had decided to do some research on asexuality. While looking around, they found the term nonbinary and realized it was the correct label for their gender. Naomi said that he was glad they had a better understanding of their identity, and assured them that the school would be accepting of any changes they needed. Parker met up with Naomi later to explain that they had come out to their family and friends. Their parents took it well, and made an effort to use Parker's preferred name and pronouns. Their friends were not very accepting. Naomi was disappointed by this, and invited Parker to start eating lunch with him.
