The Conflict

Prelude

The Kingdoms of Pearl and Qesta used to share the Pearl Mountains, Questa to the West, Pearl to the East. An excavation team tasked with finding areas to mine fossilized oysters sent by King Tazmer Malrak III of Pearl found a large dried up seabed with a rich supply. In the ensuing events, a dispute between the nations regarding boundary lines and the newly-discovered pearl supply became The Great Pearl War.

Outcome

Many people fled to the Flamholian Territories, opting for a less heavy-handed government.

Tazmer Malrak III was assassinated three months after the war ended, propelling Tazmer Malrak IV onto the throne a couple hundred years earlier than anyone expected.
