The Right-Hand Man

The Right-Hand Man is the advisor to The Boss. He has a variety of jobs and roles on a team, one of them being a go-between for the workers and The Boss. He helps share the Boss's burdens and gives advice for the various plans The Boss may have.

Qualifications

The qualifications to being a Right Hand Man vary hugely. Since, a Right Hand Man could very easily be a "Yes, man." But besides having years of experience and knowing the team quite well, The Boss must approve of you. If The Boss does not approve, you will never be an Advisor.

If The Boss does pick you, there will be several days where a contract is drawn up. This contract gives the details of what you, as the Advisor/Right Hand Man will be doing. It specifies the jobs and roles you will be performing, as well as the various small tasks a Boss may ask you to do.

Responsibilities

The Right Hand Man will typically take charge if The Boss is gone, busy, or just not there, and is the one most people see giving orders. He is "the face" of the team. While The Boss is busy planning the team's next move, the RIght Hand Man might be giving out the day's schedule, or training some Fighters. Whatever The Boss is too wrapped up to do, the Right Hand Man will most likely be doing it.

The Right Hand Man will also take note on how well the team is working together. If there is an argument or tension between teammates, he may need to report it to The Boss, depending on the team and the contract the Right Hand Man has.

Another very important thing the Advisor does is establish deals. While The Boss might initiate them, the Right Hand Man follows through with them. He's the one who helps make the deal, reads the contract, and signs the papers. (Almost like a stand-in lawyer)

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

There are multiple ways, but it is typically when the contract expires. The Boss can either write up a new one, or get another Right Hand Man.
