Session 8: A Suspiciously Closed Shop

General Summary

Just outside of Vallaki, the adventurers once again ran into Strahd himself, who asked Ireena first to come with him, then the adventurers to hand her over. As this was to no avail, Strahd retreated, leaving the party beset by wolves as some kind of test. Ireena at least passed with flying colours, slaying several wolves by herself. Before long, the party reached Vallaki and entered its town due to some great talking. They quickly set out towards the inn, as they looked around town. The coffin maker especially seemed suspicious, with his shop daring to be closed and all. They also came upon a peculiar toymaker with a rather macabre taste in toys. Lastly, they met Vassili von Holtz, a striking young and surprisingly friendly noble with a bit of an eye on Ireena.
