Session 46: An unlikely ally

General Summary

Fuck.

The Wandering Apocalypse set forth to the gates of Ravenloft, where there makeshift ragtag army stands at the ready. A group of barbarians, a haggle of commoners with pitchforks and torches lead by burgomaster Gadof Blinsky, and murders of ravens circling above. Rousing speeches and some discussion of plans followed. A majestic charge followed, but was soon halted as Rahadin denied them entrance to the castle.
A fight soon followed, and our heroes fought the ancient general as their forces held back, dearly afraid for their lives here. Turns out, many players still beat up one guy, and vampire spawn are kinda fucked with a sunlight shedding sword. Should've thought that over a bit better.
They beat up Rahadin, and through believing in the heart of the cards the man suddenly realizes that he has been a bit of a dick for quite a while. As such, Rahadin has allied with our friendly Wandering Apocalypse in a bid to redeem himself. I don't even know.
Aided by Rahadin's excellent knowledge of castle, the Wandering Apocalypse head towards the crystal heart through winding hallways and secret doors. As they enter the tower, it lights up crimson and the heart starts to beat, sending ripples throughout the tower every six seconds and throwing down anyone unlucky enough to be standing unsecured.
