Session 19: Well, Barovia is to the East

General Summary

The Danger Strangers went off to the Kasimir Velikov, who told them about his wish to visit the Amber Temple to find a way to resurrect his sister. He thinks there might be information valuable to the Danger Strangers as well, and has suggested leading them there if they are willing to protect him. They soon set off away from Vallaki after quickly popping by Blinsky's Toys asking about non-existent dolls, to visit Madam Eva at the Tser Pool Encampment at the advice of Kasimir Velikov.
They head off towards the Tser Pool Encampment, but soon make the wrong turn as they forgot to take elevation into account, and didn't notice the signpost on the crossroads. Instead, they soon find themselves before Ravenloft in the dusk, with darkness quickly approaching. They climb a hill and enter a crypt to rest, but soon find that this crypt was filled with vampire spawn. Who could've seen this coming? They quickly leave, and find themselves surrounded by wolves in the heavy mists. They fight, then run again, still chased with eyes flaring in the mists. Andrius stumbled over a corpse, and soon after they found themselves surrounded by wolves once more. It was however not just wolves, but also Strahd von Zarovich who had come out to see what the disturbance at his front door was about. The party managed to kill the wolves, but had to knock out Andrius for being rather rude.
