Formerly "The Irish Quarter" until demographic change and a flood of Romanian and other Eastern European immigrants and refugees settled in this neighborhood.

Runs from 38th to 52nd Street (even numbers only.) Cross streets and other streets have "weird" street names: Waterloo, Zugzwang, Absentia

A small club district on Waterloo Blvd. includes The Oleander Club.
