08. Auditorium

  • In-between Encounter: PCs roll, 1 in 6 chance, then d20 + Depth. If no encounter indication of the encounter rolled should be shared.
  • Locked Door (locked/unlocked): Public, open.
  • Colour (1-5 copper, 6-7 silver, 8 electrum, 9 gold, 10 platinum): Silver.
  • Location: Auditorium/Theatre.
  • Detail: Glass Tubes. The roof and walls are criss-crossed with glass tubes fastened to the ceiling and walls, and that snake over the tops of the shelves. Carrying molten wax.
  • Event d12 (careless): Every turn (10 minutes) they are in a location doing nothing (aka chatting).
  • Event d20 (careful): Footprints, litter, notes, & other signs of passage. Roll on the Encounters Table to see what left them. The next Encounter in this Location will be with that (Warp entity – ebon geist x2).
A LARGE ROOM, SEMI-CIRCULAR IN SHAPE. In the middle of the flat side, there is a small stage with a desk and behind it a large blackboard. Around this in half-circles are rings of benches, each row a few feet higher than the one in front. There are bones and litter here too, and many small noises to indicate that “critters” live here.
A still working holographic emitter is here. This large device is bolted in place but would work if the characters can figure out how to use it. It may trigger randomly if the characters hang around long enough showing a movie about a man out of time. If triggered purposely with a DC 25 Intelligence (Arcana) check a handsome middle-aged human male will appear who refers to himself as Deacon Hope and will extol the virtues of UNITY and the Golden Age of Technology.   Monster Ebon Geist. These warp demons attached themselves to the ship when it was drifting in the warp. They are keen for fresh meat as they tire of the Warp Puppets and fear the neh-thalgaa. Treat them as Shadow Demon but they do cold damage instead of psychic. A creature reduced to 0 hit points is covered in frost and will need both heat and healing to be brought back.  If the party is mid to high level use Flayed One.
