First Cave Stalker Government is Founded

After enough individuals begin living in one designated area, tribal chiefs are elected to oversee everything, from the production of food to the common defense against danger. The Cave Stalkers formed their first kingdom, which grew as time went on.

There was a region in between the Pits and the Forests in which Cave Stalker cultivated crops to feed each other, which would later become the Wastes. Over time, other Cave Stalker groups joined them and began growing food of their own, and the area became so densely populated that they needed someone to manage them. Tribal chiefs were elected to oversee the production of food, to manage conflicts between households, and protect their public from other creatures.

Specific records of this transitionary period are sparse, but this government was likely a monarchy, with only one ruler. Only one of the chiefs brought into power was allowed to become the ruler, while the other were reserved for second in command. From there the kingdom grew to a greater size, and the upper class within it sought to expand farther. Several expedition teams were sent to survey the landscape around them, searching for suitable land to occupy.
