Elf* Species in The Nexus 5e | World Anvil

Elf*

The reasons are unclear but after the Sudaga War, most of the Elves seem to have vanished. Very few of them are seen among the other races. In many parts of the world, an Elf hasn't been spotted in years. If you play as an Elf, you are young and were born and raised among humans or other races - having never known your homeland. You do not know where your ancestors have gone and the vaunted racial memories that you are supposed to have are also missing. You may have had a happy life up until now but you know that something is missing.

Slender and Graceful

With their unearthly grace and fine features, elves appear hauntingly beautiful to Humans and members of many other races. They are slightly shorter than Humans on average, ranging from well under 5 feet tall to just over 6 feet. They are more slender than Humans, weighing only 100 to 145 pounds. Males and females are about the same height, and males are only marginally heavier than females.   Elves’ coloration encompasses the normal human range and also includes skin in shades of copper, bronze, and almost bluish-white, hair of green or blue, and eyes like pools of liquid gold or silver. Elves have no facial and little body hair. They favor elegant clothing in bright colors, and they enjoy simple yet lovely jewelry.

Hidden Woodland Realms

It is true that Elves lived among the trees, in their own forest dwellings. But now? No one really seems to know. The few Elves that remain are the younglings living amongst the other races in the empire. While they maintain their magical nature, something has been lost.

How They View Other Races

In the past Elves viewed the other races from the perspective of the long-lived and of their families. Now, spread among the other races, such grand opinions have faded and those Elves still around instead have adapted to life among the others. Instead of the legendary Elven haughtiness, you have existential questions such as "where have my ancestors gone?" "Why are we divided and alone?"
