Coraly , The Ruins

Great Risk, Great Reward

Coraly City, referred to simply as the Ruins by all but those who strive remember the old ways. Central to New Man's Valley, the Ruins were once a large and populous city, a hub of trade and travel connecting once great nations across the Great Waters, collecting people from half the world. It is dead now. Little remains but towers of steel and stone, toppled and devoured by the creatures now living within. However within these ruins lie relics of great power and use. Devices to light up the darkness and defend against the vestiges of the night. Machines that can provide life giving water to a dying people. Weapons that can destroy enemies and prey with the pull of a trigger. Terrible things lie in the ruins. Great and wonderful Treasures, but terrible, terrible things within.   One bastion of Light shines in this land. Off the river, in full view of a the Dam sits Amian City ; The only true city in New Man's Valley. Home of the avians, it is an oasis from the surrounding death.   Be warned. The clear lake, full of fresh pure water, sits dammed off the city. It is life giving water, true. But it is also a watering hole for towering titans, the greatest of all dangers in the Ruins.

Geography

The Ruins are bordered to the North by a large mountain range, far reaching enough that none remember their length or measure. To the West, past the ruins are bordered by the Great Waters, broken by the island, which none dare to pass. Eastward sits the clear lake, dammed off from the city; grand, majestic, pure. To the south lie the lowlands, marshy and forested; It's only boundary the outlands, those places not shielded from the radiation surrounding all of New Man's Valley. running through is a river running to meet the Great Waters.   The Ruins themselves are upon the upper foothills, overlooking the Great Waters .

Fauna & Flora

Twisted and Transformed, the living things of the New World were radically transformed to survive, twisted and protected by the myriad spirits that broke into the world at the cataclysm.   It is here more than any other place that the titans gather.
