of dragons

Many tales are told about this mythical race. From giant wrathful beats to wise and friendly hosts anything seems possible for dragons. One thing that can bee agreen on however, is that an angered dragon will come hurtling down as a raging firestorm faster than anything.

In most tellings, dragons are huge, scaled lizardlike creatures with two enormous wings. They stand on thick hindlegs with razorsharp claws. Their teeth are more deadly then an army of swords and they breathe fire. Also they are ment to have a long tail and in some stories, the whole spine from the neck to the tail-tip is spiked with sharp jags.

But of course, dragons are only a myth. There have always been stories about them, even when the grandparents of our grandparents were still litte children. But no dragon has ever been sighted for real.

Historical Basis

Apparently, dragons are mentioned in ancient scrolls of true historic events. But these mentionings are so scarce that most people will live long lives without meeting anyone  that even knows someyone who has ever seen those reports.
