common tongue

The common tongue is the language given to the mortal races in order to communicate with each other and pass on skills and knowledge. Over time and by seperation of the races from each other the languages begin to change and wholly different languages arise. However the common tongue conitinues to serve as a trade and communication language between the races. During the secon Order it again becomes the official language but with slight derivation as it is adapted to the human language of the time.
