Alana Ferrer
Alana Ferrer was born to a middle class family in Pariah in the Cantobaria System. She was born in comfortable but modest circumstances, but was considered a capable youth, and one that showed extreme loyalty to the Parian state. As she was a known patriot at a young age, and one who showed much promise in both academia and athletics, Alana was assigned to preparatory Military Academy where she received a basic education in military matters as well as a more traditional academic curriculum. Alana was then offered an invitation to join the Pariah Naval Academy, which she accepted without hesitation.
Throughout her time in the Academy, Ferrer continued to prove the same capability she showed in her earlier schooling, being fast tracked into the Naval Command Program. After graduating 10th in her graduating class Ensign Ferrer was quickly assigned to serve as training officer for the Parian pocket battleship Celepina. Her career was derailed however, when assigned to Esteban Galvao as a replacement for his previous aide de camp, who had previously quit in disgust of the Commodore’s unbecoming conduct. Ensign Ferrer adapted to the new role as best she could, but found herself quickly becoming disgruntled with the defector’s conduct just as her predecessor. When presented with the opportunity to betray her commanding officer by the crew of the SS Good Times she took it, providing key information about the Commodore's Security Routine
