Demographics

Bunker City is split into three social classes, the citizens, civilians and allies.
The Citizens: Bunker city Citizens are required to focuse solely on athletic and military training, and politics. At the age of seven, all male Citizens are required to begin military training. They are educated to follow orders with out question and give their lifes for Bunker city if need be without hesitation. Citizens are also the only ones who are aloud to vote in Bunker city elections.

Civilians: Bunker city civilians are responsible for the majority of the day-to-day tasks such as agricultural duties, metal working, or higher skilled work that support the Citizens. However Civilians do not have the same rights as citizens for example civilians do not have the right to vote in elections and cannot hold any office in Bunker city. But citizens are required to provide protection to the civilians if need be.


Allies: Outsiderswho are not antagonistic to Bunker City. Outsiders are only aloud to settle on the outskirts of the city and are not entitled to the same protection from the army as civilians are. Many allies are indentured servants and are slaves in every way but name. Most Allies in Bunker city are only there temporary as merchants.

Allies cam become Civilians easy enough by simply demonstrating a skill that would be useful to Bunker City. And it is possible that someone can take a test to become a full Citizen of Bunker city. However it is intentionally designed to be so difficult as to be virtually impossible by someone not of extraordinary strength and Endurance. Usually the only way to become a citizen of Bunker city is to be born as one.

Industry & Trade

Bunker city's hydroponics and mushroom farm can only produce a certain amout of food and being in such mountainous area makes farming difficult and must buy food from outside the city. Bunker city usually trades medical supplies and tools for food and raw materials.

Infrastructure

Before the Confluence event Bunker city was a doomsday bunker-built buy a Billionaire, however it has grown outside of its original construction into a large town. John Price paid no expense in buying technology to ensure long term survival such as a hydroponics and mushroom farm, fully stocked armory, workshop to make new weapons, ammo and tools and a biomass plant to produce power.


The Fortress: The original bunker built by John Price and was designed for long term survival. Almost every element of the original bunker is still intact, from John Price library to the bunker's blast doors. The most important people of Bunker City have their office and homes here. Only Bunker city soldiers and Citizens are allowed access to the inside the bunker.

Citizens living quarters: Outside the original bunker but still part of Bunker city is the civilian quarters. When the construction of the original bunker was underway John Price had to ship in so many workers and supplies to the rural mountain area that he was building in. So much so that a small town sprung up close to the construction spot and was built to support the work. The town was called Hytheel and after the Confluence event the town had grown to surround the original bunker. In the current new dark age times it is the biggest part of Bunker city holding most of the population.

Allies quarters: The place where outsiders (allies) are settled. It isn't much, as people are disorganized, and most buildings are made out of scrap metal and wood and are usually made to be temporary. Most here are to trade food or raw materials for medical supplies and tools.

History

Bunker city started as a doomsday bunker built by a pre-Conflux Billionaire name John Price. Before the Confluence event John Price spent billions sparing no expense to construct a safe stronghold to protect him in the event of a social collapse like a nuclear war, plague or some other calamity.

When building Price bunker as he called it John Price first Bought a large amount of land in a rural mountain area. He then started building spending millions of dollars just to ship in supplies and workers then millions more to make housing for the workers and places and warehouuses for materials. After construction was under way, he then began to hire ex-navy seals, soldiers, marines, and survival specialist to work as security in his bunker. The most expensive part of the Price bunker construction was the bunker's facilities, John Price paid to install the most advanced water recyclers, hydroponic farms and other technologies for long term survival. When Price bunker was completed, it could withstand a siege and support the population of a large town, John Price even installed luxury facilities so he could enjoy doomsday in comfort.

When the Confluence event happened, it wasn't the kind of social collapse that John Price was expecting but when it did happen, him and the guards he hired retreated to Price Bunker. Well building the bunker John Price imagined that after the social collapse, he would rule the land he owned like a king with his Bunker as his castle. However, a short time after the confluence event happened and money stopped having any value to it some of the ex-soldiers that John Price hired as guards very easily overthrew him in a bloodless coup and elected a new leader. The man who took over after John Price was an ex-navy seal named David Miller. (what happended to John Price is unknown.) After the bunker was under now leadership it began to organizes becoming more militarize militarized into a more spartan like society.
