Infrastructure

The base is divided into four subfacilities each separated with the most advanced security. Under the surface is a concrete labyrinth of hollways with bunkers with water and airtight blast doors and occasional offices.


Level 1: The surface and cover facility of the base is Las Vegas international airport Nevada, but under the airport is a vast network of subterranean facilitys.
Levle 2: This subfacility was dedicated to finance, accounting and organization and data entry. This subfacility resembled the inside of a large office building.
Level 3: Was used for weapon testing, chemical engineering and advanced psychological training.

Level 4: Project Necromancer

History

Before the Confluence, Area 51 it was a US military base used for secret weapons testing and experimental rocket and jet engines. When it was first constructed the base was used for some of the country's most top secret experiments. But after the Roswell incident the base began to become popular with conspiracy theorist, at first the government tried to quell the speculation but then decided to use another strategy, feed into the hype and move the big experiments somewhere else.
The original location at groom lake was just a facade that everything was done to make it look like a important military base with big secret operations going on, but in reality the real secret military base was under Las Vegas international airport. For all intents and purposes Las Vegas airport was an normal airport that moved cilvilians in and out of the city and all over the world like any other airport would. But buried deep under the surface was some of the governments most heavily guarded secrets.

Project necromancer was a secret experiment and defense contract between the US military and Netrotek to produce super soldiers. Initially the project was an attempt to bring fallen US soldiers back to life. Netrotek use the bodies of dead soldiers and attempted to revive them using cybernetics. And well the Netrotek scientist did get the cadavers to get up and move around they couldn't truly bring them back from the dead. The result of the experiment were mindless zombie like husks with no memories of their former life. Well not the original intention of the experiment some military higher-ups still saw potential in it. At that point project necromancer changed from reviving fallen soldiers to creating a new form of super soldiers. Soldiers that were not capable of fear or disobeying orders and that were stronger and faster then ordinary humans. Under project necromancer Nerotek began to produce corpse soldiers as they were called. But after the Confluence event the base was abandoned, the corpse soldiers were left alone and escaped containment and left area 15. After escaping area 15 the corpse soldiers killed or abducted every human they found and tookover the Las Vegas area.
In the current new dark age era Las vegas is known as the dead city and most do everything to avoid it. Corpse soldiers often leave the city to raid travelers and settlements that are to close to the city. But usually corpse soldiers do not kill the people they raid instead abducting them and taking them into the depths of area 15 and turn them into corpse soldiers.
