Personal history

The baby now known as Richard Foundling had a rude beginning, apparently being unwanted as he was found in front of one of the Holy Order's orphanages. The baby was given the same last name as all the others, and raised by the paladins as a potential initiate. Once he was of age, he was put through initial training, and, having been found acceptable, admitted into the ranks of the paladins. Nearly two decades of diligently studying everything about paladin lifestyle has left Richard somewhat lacking in social and life experience. His superiors, being concerned for his future as an adventurer, have encouraged him to attempt more joint quests before granting him a license.
