Alphabet Round

Tell us about a popular parlour game played in a region of your world. What are the rules?     If one spends any amount of time in the Catlands, they will likely spectate or be invited to join a favorite game. Played by groups of three to four people, Alphabet Round is played by most everyone from the time they can understand the rules til such advanced age that forming the sentences necessary is too difficult.   The idea is that someone outside the game chooses a topic and starting letter; this can also be accomplished by drawing engraved twigs from a hat or quiver. The group works together to tell a story, each speaking one sentence at a time. The first player's first sentence must start with the starting letter. The next player's sentence must start with the next letter in the alphabet, and so on until they make it all the way around the alphabet, ending with the same letter on which they started.   If someone drops the sequence, that particular person loses and the rest of the group carries on without them. The entire group wins if they make it around and the story is coherent. Cats tend to be in pretty good humor about losing, as it creates a topic of discussion for the group to kill some more time in the wilderness- how to get better and not make the same mistakes again.   An example of how the game works is as follows. Subject: Drink Starting Letter: T   There once was a man who was consumed by a terrible thirst. Unrelieved by the coldest spring water, he went in search of a potion to ease his suffering. Veroma, the witch of the woods, was said to be able to make any wish come true, so he sought her out first. ... ... Softly, he crept back into his home, so as not to wake his wife or children. Then, at last, he laid down to rest from his quest.
