Taker's magic

The opposite of what now is called Giver's magic, Taker's magic is a lot riskier. That risk also can bring with it some huge rewards.

Utility

While still deemed too risky to use, the experimenting shows that if you manage to open the flow for long enough without it managing to take your magic instead, you can access a nearly limitless source of magic. This could have great benefits, but more than a few ways of misusing it for personal gains.
Access & Availability
While the Taker's magic is widely known, only a few masters are permitted to study it due to its high risks. The circle for opening up to the realm is mostly known to those masters.
Complexity
The circle opening up to the realm isn't more complex than the ones to the Giver's magic, but less known. Taking the magic out of the realm requires skill and concentration, but is less draining than using Giver's magic.
Discovery
Taker's magic was discovered when some of the masters experimented with Giver's magic. Three masters simultaneously poured magic into the Giver's realm, to see how much it could handle. Overloading it in this way however opened up the Taker realm. Quickly all the magic was swallowed up and left the masters confused. After searching for the realm and overloading the Giver's realm again to try tracing where the breach comes from, they managed to draw up an entirely new circle opening up to the new realm, before quickly having to close it again. The new realm, unlike the Giver's magic realm, does it's best to draw your magic power in rather than push away. After further study, they found you could get the magic power back like with the Giver's, but it was a lot harder. That's how they bacame know as Giver's and Taker's magic.

Author's Notes

Hello! And thank you for reading my article!
This was made during the Summer Camp 2018 challenge. I won't be editing any of these to keep them for looking back on. That being said some I'm really not happy with, so I'll most likely put up an edited version at some point. If I do you will be able to find the link on the top of the page
