Governor

Unlike those of other regions, the Mislude Region does not have Gym Leaders. Instead, Governors are the strongest Trainers in their part of the region. Unlike Gym Leaders, Misludean Governors do not build their teams around a single Type. Instead, they build their teams around battle strategies. In Pre-Modern times, Misludean Governors were assigned by kings and emperors of foreign nations as they secured territory within. Along with maintaining their lord’s power in the region, Governors were also responsible for administering the territory under their control. Today, their administrative roles are more symbolic, often being just seen as cultural leaders of their territory.
Upon defeating a Governor, Trainers will receive Medals to demonstrate their triumph. Upon gathering all Medal Medals, a Trainer may partake in the Provine Tournament. The victors are then able to challenge the Champion's Pilgrimage">Champion's Pilgrimage.
