House Action, Trenton, Barlow, Steele, Cornwall, and many other Anglaco families rose up against their Norsekin overlords to free themselves from servitude and slavery.

Norsekins having developed advanced sailing technology during the 5 years after the Blackest Night was able to sail across the glacial sea and conquer the unprepared agrarian Anglaco people. For 10 years the Norsekins raided and pillaged the Anglaco people as they pleased, using them as a servant slave class. The Cornwall family under Cornelius united many other prominent families of the region of Eastoia and rallied the Anglaco people into a desperate rebellion.
