BUILD YOUR OWN WORLD Like what you see? Become the Master of your own Universe!
Current Date: 4 Bagrada, 99 DC

The Lascarian Calendar was created in what would have been the year 14 DC by a Namarrine merchant and seafarer named Isabela Lascaris. She named each month after whichever constellation was rising at the time, and she split the year into 13 months because the legend of creation tells of 13 dragons that emerged from the earth and shaped the world with their fire, frost, lightning, and acid. Therefore, 13 has always been an auspicious and revered number throughout the continent of Etipa. The year is counting up from the events of the Harrowing, an era labeled with the abbreviation "D.C.," which stands for "Después del Cataclismo."   There are two moons, Sadios and Mora. Sadios, the smaller of the two (displayed on the left in the calendar), glows with a soft rose-colored light and has a cycle of 29.5 days. Mora (displayed on the right) is situated further away from the earth and almost doubles the size of Sadios, most often glowing with a yellowish-white light and taking 43 days to complete its full cycle.
