General Summary
The fight with the Trolls was tough, but we were successful. We burned the bodies, and Ner sent Raz to investigate the cave. Inside, he saw a tear in reality with a claw reaching through and pulling the tear open further. After a brief debate, the party retreated with Samuel causing plant growth in the area to slow down any additional trolls. We returned to the village of Gatshadow and informed Hovard about the tear and that we could potentially close it, as Samuel can cast Dispel Magic, but we would need assistance, like men and gunpowder to close the cavern entrance. During the discussion, Kymil ritually casted detect magic. Everything about the island itself radiated magic, and while the people did not register as magic, there was one exception; Hovard was a being of pure magic. We returned to our lodging and discussed our plans for the coming days. Samuel expressed concerns about our involvement and convinced the others that we should limit ourselves to reconnaissance while we wait for Mori Mackel to gather the hidden platinum bars.
