Lorna was given magic by a dying Shadar-Kai as a child. Soon after, her darkened appearance and increasing power became too terrifying for her parents. They feared a child imbued with shadow magic would make them a target in Khami, Eshax. The Mages of High Sorcery took her in and raised her surrounded by magic. Her first teacher, a Wood Elf named Faire-Helene Ivyweather, taught her well, but kept her at an arm’s length. Now in her young 20’s, Lorna has been tasked with proving herself as a fair sorcerer to the Order of the Red Robes.
