Greenfall
Government
The government of the land it a monarchy which has rules the city for more then 2000 years. The crown has been paced down the family line with a few expeditions though out that time is relative peace.
Defences
The city wall acts as it's main defense, surrounded the city and not allowing anyone that is unwanted to pass. Though out the early history there was also an elite warrior group who guarded the city who were dedicated to protecting it as they came to the city to escape being ruled by cruel dictators. However the monarch did not keep the wall up and let the city spill out past them, and now they only protect the inner part of the city.
Industry & Trade
Iron is the most prominent export of the city it started early on in tis history and has continued to this day.
Infrastructure
The city is built at the base of a waterfall with the rive flowing right down the center of the city dividing it into two. There is a wall that surrounds the center city which goes into the mountains above. As the city grew it started to grew beyond the wall and any of the new buildings are mostly slums, compared to the inner city biuldings which are construed from stone and the building are build up often five to seven stories tall.
History
The city was founded as an independent organization, and soon after its founding a council formed and ruled over the city for almost 1000 year. The Greenfall City Council were men chosen by their valor not relationships to anyone else, and they run the city by a simple majority rules in a vote of the fifteen members. While the council was in charge the city prospered, it was a safe place for refugee's and those escaping their lives else where. The city prospered for many years mostly because of its iron trade.
However a series of attacks on the city and a plague caused the city to fall into decline. The people revolted and the city almost fell apart. Out of the ruins, a monarchy rose form the old city ousting the council and taking over as the government.
They managed to get the city going again, and brought it back form the ruins however not everyone was happy with this new government and the Shadow Writers were formed to try to sew chaos in the people. However this plan did not work and the Shadow Writers turned to instead controlling the government instead of over throwing it. It is thanks much in part of the Shadow Writers that the monarchy stayed in power for so long.
Geography
Built around a waterfall that feature is a demanding presence over the city as well as the mountain cliffs that guard one side of it.
