Staff profile—Master Adélaïde Jameux

A rune mistress and our most promising and youngest faculty member at the University of Lille. As clever as she is charming, she is a students and the president's clear favourite and fast on her way to becoming a fully fledged professor.
Master Jameux comes from a family local to the region of Lille and who specialised in making magical jewellery. Growing up in her family's workshop, she quickly developed a passion for warding that naturally led her to our university and the completion of a rune mastery.   Her family's magic coupled with an extraordinary mind for runes and a commitment to scholarship have jumpstarted what promises to be an exceptional academic career dedicated to the enhancement of our soldier's warding amulets.   Master Jameux is considered by students to be a demanding but fair teacher who never fails to support and reward exceptional talents and efforts. With a special appreciation for original practical work, she will never fail to hold her students' full attention.

Students' testimony

An ok teacher, despite not having the right social contacts.

Knows what she's talking about

Cares about students' safety

Makes a better effort to be fair than the rest of the staff
but still has to coddle rich spoilt brats.

Can she stop talking about that
damn Drissoire incident for a minute???

Occasionally sub forging classes for Lefebvre
and is surprisingly competent at them.

Entertaining practicals

Her rivalry with Laguillon is fun to watch. If you're bored with classes, just mention one of them to the other and enjoy the mayhem. With any luck, you'll even get a funnier practical out of it.

Thanks <3 I'm having fun writing those while also trying to make them reveal more of the teacher's character than a dry official profile XD

Those student testemonies are great! Knowing how to trick your teacher into a class filling rant about an unrelated subject felt like a super power back in the day.

Thanks <3 Ah! you reminded that some classmates were doing the same thing back in high school with some of our teachers XD Not with rant, but by asking questions about the teacher's fav topics.

Nice little profile. The student comments add flavor that shifts the main body "say" into "show" on student opinion.

Thanks <3 Yes, the students' profile are really fun to write and allows me to keep the in-world serious-teacher-profile-view while still providing readers with a look behind the scene :D I'm going to use something similar for all my characters in this world.
