Snowlaid Pass

Geography

The Pass crosses the border between Gratica and Schinter while simultaneously being part of neither's jurisdiction. It twists and turns to make the most of the natural terrain, so those travelling in carts are advised to not go too fast in these areas. A perpetual layer of snow lies across most of the pass, which gives it its name. Other than a few small resting stops and the haven of The Last Post inn, the pass has very few amenities and very little cover in case of common snowstorms.

Fauna & Flora

Stonemen in particular are known to harass travellers heading through the pass, but wolves, bears, and the very rare white dragon have been sighted in the region. As far as plant life goes, there is very little, and it tends to be small grass clumps that spring to life in the summertime.

Natural Resources

This mountain pass has very little resources beyond the freezing snow and the occasional goat that has escaped from one of the few tiny homesteads near the Pass.
