Withering Plague, (also called "The Wither" or "Blight") was a plague of apocalyptic proportions that destroyed the kingdom of Aethelas in an event known as The Scouring of Aethelas.
Resurrection Sickness is what follows infection, giving the victim death-like symptoms.
